Alastair is a chartered civil engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the civil engineering contracting sector. He is responsible for delivering complex projects in the Energy, Nuclear, Highway and Defence sectors. GRAHAM is one of the UK and Ireland’s leading construction businesses with a multi-disciplinary portfolio in the public and private sector.

Mike will give an overview of the corporate context for NWS then into the nature of the work at LLWR, recent and upcoming frameworks, and the mobilisation of Grahams on the next phase of capping.

Working at Legacy Ponds has been described as ‘the easiest and the hardest job in the world’. A collaboration between SL and HN have delivered a series of 6-week improvement sprints, to both solve some of the problems on the ground and give people the time, development and support to work in a different way. The Sprints form part of a wider culture change initiative that HN is supporting and have helped change mindsets and build confidence.
